Merrianne E. Dean Merrianne E. Dean is a 1994 graduate of Western State School of Law, San Diego, (now Thomas Jefferson School of Law) and was admitted to practice in Callifornia the same year. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of California. She is a founding member and shareholder of Rosenstein, Wilson & Dean, P.L.C. which was formed in 1997. Ms. Dean’s primary practice includes estate planning and probate litigation involving decedent’s estates, trusts and conservatorships. She is regularly appointed by the San Diego Superior Court to represent individuals who are the subject of conservatorship proceedings. In addition to her probate and estate litigation practice, Ms. Dean also represents registered and non-registered domestic partners in disputes involving the termination of their relationships and division of their jointly owned assets. Ms. Dean is a member of the San Diego Bar Association and served as the Co-Chair of SDCBA’s Probate and Estate Section in 2005-2006. She also a member of the Lawyers Club where she has served on various committees, and the Tom Homann Law Association where she has served as a board member. Ms. Dean has twice been awarded the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services and her firm was awarded the SDCBA Annual Award For Outstanding Public Service By A Law Firm Or Agency in May 2006. Merrianne lives in east San Diego county with her domestic partner of 16 years and their menagerie of saddle mules, pot bellied pigs, dogs and one cat. She is an avid scuba diver with a rating of Master and has logged more than 300 dives since 2004.
